First of all, midterms in college are completely different than in high school. In high school I barely studied and proceeded to get good grades. Now, I have to spend hours studying and really map out my schedule to get things done on time. Paying attention in class isn't enough anymore, I have to read text books and go above and beyond to get A's. That's a huge challenge for me, I am so use to my high school routine that changing it is a big step. Slowly, but surely I will become more and more disciplined so that I can do just as good in college as I did in high school.
"I believed in studying just because I knew education was a privilege. It was the discipline of study, to get into the habit of doing something that you don't want to do."
Wynton Marsalis
